Hi guys, today I'm going to do a review for Bhiner X Cosplay X Taobao Agent . They are a sort of shopping service which helps you to find and get what you need from Taobao. Taobao is a sort of chinese ebay, where you can find different stores that sell different products. If you have any problem or if you need help you can send an email or a a message on their FB page, Bhiner team will kindly help you ! The communication with them is super fast and they always answer you in a polite and helpful way, their team is adorable and lovely! I received many costumes from them and I always had a super nice experience !

DISCLAIMER:I'm going to review a cosplay sold by a Taobao store , Bhiner only searched and shipped it to me ! In case you will be not satisfy with a product, you should complain about it with the store, Bhiner is not responsable of a faulty or a poor item.

The package arrived without problems and in a very short time (usually when you order something from China you need to wait alot, but my package arrived more or less 3 weeks ). The costume arrived in a cardboard box and inside it the costume was protected by a regular sealed plastic bag. I have nothing in particular to say about this point.

This time I directly sent my costumes suggestions to Bhiner, I researched and selected my favourite costumes from Taobao and I sent the links to Bhiner, and then they decided to sponsor me Saber cosplay. I have some favourite stores from Taobao and I know which of them provide high quality costumes. The one that sells this outfit is, in particular, one of my favourites. This store is specialized in kimonos and japanese, chinese, and also korean traditional clothes, but occasionally releases “regular” costumes too. I saw their Saber cosplay some time ago and after giving a look to the reviews from others custumers and I asked to Bhiner if they could provide me that specific item. This time I was quite sure that the costume would have been an high quality item!
In fact I was right! I immediatelly fell in love with the fabric, it has a lovely satined finish, it looks like an high quality material. You can see immediatelly the floral pattern but if you move the fabric the light reveals an intricate design ! The floral design is inspired to the official images of this costume. I must say it's almost identical to the original one and also the colours are almost the same ! You can see how much care the store put in the creation of this costume.
Of course this is not a real Kimono but an imitation of a real Haregi ( formal type of wear ). Infact you'll not find the “nagajuban” ( kimono like robe, usually worn under the kimono) and the “hadajuban” neither, but only the “Haneri” ( a decorative piece of cloth worn over the "juban" collar ) sewed to the "Furisode" collar; and a white “skirt” ( I think it's a “susoyoke” but the upper part “Hadaji” is missing ) that you have to wear under the main dress part.
This make the costume easier to wear, otherwise it would be extremelly uncomfortable to wear during a convention.
Even so, I must say that this costume is really hard to put on! Probably, You'll need the help of two people ! There is no way you'll be able to wear it without their help, just immagine how hard would have been wear it if there was also the under part! Last summer I almost died XD so hot ( don't ask me why I did it … actually it was pretty pleasant to wear it during fall but not summer... avoid that XD)
Luckily the store put online a video tutorial that explains step by step how to wear a kimono !
I really suggest you to follow it !

The costume parts are :

• a white “skirt” (“susoyoke”)

• The "Furisode" (type of formal Kimono with characteristic long sleeves)

• 3 white tapes ( “koshihimo”. To tie the different parts of the costume )

• a light-blue braided cord ( “Obijime” that is usually tied around the “Obi” )

• A little rope decoration ( I think this is supposed to be a part of the "obijime", probably you're supposed to tie the "obijime" in a decorative way; but to make it easier for you the store added this little piece separately so you only have to pin it on the "obijime" as some sort of decoration)

• a pink “obi” ( a decorative sash )

• a pink big ribbon for the obi ( “musubi”. Once again they make it easier for us, since they created a removable ribbon)

• a pink fabric with red stripes ( “Obiage” . A rectangular piece of fabric usually used in the tying of “musubi” )

• a pair of “tabi” (traditional Japanese socks)

• a pair of “Geta”

• a blue floral ribbon as hair decoration.

 

I must say I fell in love with this costume! I adore it ! Is super difficult to wear it, but it's worth all the “pain” ! I love the details of the costume, the fabric is wonderful, the floral pattern and the colours are almost identical to Saber Haregi, I couldn't ask for more ! It's perfect ! I can't explain myself better ! I totally recomend you to visit Bhiner X Cosplay X Taobao Agent website! And if you want to cosplay this version of Saber you definitelly need to buy this costume, you will never find something better than this.  It's almost impossible to create something similar even by sewing it by yoursel, since you need to custom-made the fabric to get a similar floral pattern ( which means an extra cost for you and a looooooong work on the kimono's patten).
Thanks to Bhiner I was able to wear such a lovely costume and I must say I had, once again, a really nice experience with them and I hope to collaborate again in future.
